Overview The award-winning Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is currently hiring for a Library Aide II with the Sahara West Library. General Summary: Under general supervision, interacts with a wide variety of internal and external customers to support general library operations and assists with lending and collecting library material; registers new customers; issues library cards and assists with customer accounts; sorts and reshelves library materials; answers routine customer questions; teaches customers how to use library resources; performs collection-maintenance duties; helps to plan and participates in library programs; and performs a variety of transactional duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices. Typically reports to management-level Library Operations position. Description of Hours and Wages: The pay range for this position is $20.95 to $28.07 per hour. Pay typically begins at the minimum of the pay range, and employees are eligible for annual merit and COLA increases per District policy.
