Duties and Responsibilities: Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Diagnoses patient conditions, examines skin to determine nature of disease, administers or orders diagnostic tests, taking blood samples, smears and skin biopsies from affected areas, and interprets test results for deviations from normal. Treats illnesses, abscesses, skin injuries, malignancies, skin infections, and other skin conditions Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, and other procedures as appropriate.
