Overview: - Department: Ambulatory Surgery - Schedule: Full Time, Variable, 12-Hr Shifts (0600-1430 or 1200-2030) - Facility: Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital - Location: Evanston, IL 60201 Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Out Patient Services setting. The Registered Nurse communicates with physicians, / Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The Registered Nurse is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The Registered Nurse coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist, directs and guides and other personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Out Patient Department.
