NOTE: This is a staff augmentation contract position anticipated to be 40 hours/week for 6-12 months. Work will be done remotely with travel as needed. Candidates MUST have experience with nuclear digital I&C independent verification and validation. POSITION SUMMARY: The Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) organization maintains NuScale’s V&V program and provides vendor oversight for V&V work on safety-related digital instrumentation and control (I&C) in accordance with IEEE Std 1012-2004, which is endorsed by Regulatory Guide 1.168 Revision 2. Work activities may include update/maintenance of IV&V plans and procedures, performing criticality analysis for all SIL level software, supporting development and review of digital I&C system requirement specifications and statements of work, review vendor V&V artifacts for acceptance, and participating in risk mitigation activities associated with IV&V projects.
