Demonstrates a “People First” approach as an IT Support Specialist by building strong relationships across departments and delivering responsive, user-focused technical support. Performs and coordinates the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of PCs and systems to meet the needs of A.Y. Industries co-workers. Collaborates with teams across the organization to ensure reliable technology solutions, reflecting the belief that “This Company Runs on People.” ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Acquire and install, configure, monitor, and maintain: - PC applications, virtual and physical servers. - Network operating system software, network backup software, and other network utilities. - Network infrastructure, including cabling and shared devices such as switches and firewalls. - Wide area networking, SDWAN and other data communications products. - Office365 - Provide support for IoT devices for manufacturing facilities - Support Cloud infrastructure - Selects vendors and monitors their performance. - Troubleshoot and correct failures or performance problems involving any aspect of the above systems, using contractors as requ...
