Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to payment processes and procedures. Analyzes financial records, including variance analysis. What a day of an Accounts Payable Specialist looks like: Creates, submits, and settles Automated Clearing House (ACH), direct deposit, and check payments. Initiates and processes payments using various payment methods including ad-hoc payments, expense payments, third-party payments, and card payments. Processes unclaimed property payments.
