Summary of Job Responsibilities Area of Accountability: Works as a member of the Materials department to assist in the operation of material handling. Inventories/counts and moves raw and finished materials from the production floor or storage areas to their intended destination. - Operates the company truck to move materials to or from plant. - Unloads steel trucks as they arrive and moves steel to storage areas. - Operates sit-down lift and high-reach lift trucks as necessary to store or deliver materials. - Accurately reports daily activities as required. - Material flow, presentation and replenishment experience preferred. - Knowledge of inventory control processes such as cycle counting and scrap reporting are preferred. - Inventories, prepares and packages aftermarket materials for shipment. - Proficient in using handheld scanner and/or pc to per...
