Description The School of Education within the College of Health, Education, and Professional Studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track assistant/associate professor generalist position. The position will start in August 2026. The ideal candidate would have the following qualities: A Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education with an emphasis in English/Language Arts (ELA), grades 6–12, or a closely related field is preferred. We seek a highly qualified educator with demonstrated experience in K–12 settings. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in English or a related discipline and experience teaching at the university level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in a range of instructional methodologies and the effective integration of technology in course delivery. Additionally, the candidate will have experience using technology and implementing innovative, research-based instructional strategies in higher education.
