Job Description Summary The Engineer in Generator Electrical Design is an individual contributor. The major thrust of this position is leading the electrical design activities within projects to support R&D, Tendering and Requisition Engineering. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Perform requisition electrical design activities for Turbogenerators for GAS, STEAM and Services, meeting schedules and cost objectives. - Adaptation of electrical standard documentation to project specific requirements - Perform Design Analysis in terms of electrical, electromagnetic, thermal and ventilation aspects - Support Manufacturing, Sourcing, Erection and Commissioning activities as required. - Interface with other design groups in the company. - Support Cost-out, cycle reduction, and product quality enhancement projects - Response to customer and site questions, analyzing and assessing client specifications - Participation in tests and measurements at test stations, power plants, analysis of measurement results, - Supervision and improvement of tools for calculating electric machines (electrical, electromagnetic, thermal, ventilation calculations) for the needs of configuration - Tec...
