POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the manager, and according to department policies, and procedures, and guidelines, is responsible for managing prescription refill requests submitted to the clinic departments serviced by the Medication Refill Center. This position is for a pharmacist who will work on approvals for refill renewal requests received by the serviced clinic(s) under a scope of practice agreement. The Medication Refill Pharmacist will work directly with pharmacies, providers and patients and serve as the lead for refill renewals for medications under scope. Position: Medication Refill Cente r Pharmacist Department: Centralized GIM Rx Refill: Schedule: Per Diem: EDUCATION: Work requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD, M.S. or MBA) preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Work requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Massachusetts by the hire date EXPERIENCE: Requires two to three years related experience.
