Physical Therapist - Outpatient Float - PRN

Job description

The Physical Therapist is primarily responsible for the delivery of physical therapy care to the patient population to which she/he is assigned and the recording of that care in the hospital medical record. The therapist acts as a consultant to various patient clinics, provides instruction to PT support staff, students, personnel of other disciplines within VCUHS, and patient and/or family members. Therapists may rotate through our various clinical service areas. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Licensed (or licensure eligible) by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current license by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist Current CPR Certification if required by clinic or practice area Experience REQUIRED: New graduate to up to 2 years of work experience as a Physical Therapist Experience PREFERRED: Previous affiliation or work experience at a similar facility Education/training REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy Education/training PREFERRED: Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited School of Physical Thera...
