Sacred Heart Glyndon is seeking a Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Confirmation . The Coordinator of Youth Ministry & Confirmation will work collaboratively with the pastor and parish staff in implementing goals and developing the parish's vision for the middle school and high school-aged youth, with a primary focus on preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation. This is a full-time position with benefits. Essential Functions: - Coordinates the Confirmation program, including: 1) obtaining teaching materials 2) volunteer recruiting and training 3)planning and execution of the confirmation retreat, and 4) development of all parent/sponsor communications. - Ensures participants meet Archdiocesan Confirmation requirements and organizes the Confirmation Liturgy. Ensures that communication with the Archdiocese about Confirmation is managed promptly and that any necessary follow-up is completed on time. - Coordinates and leads Middle School and High School Youth Ministry activities working towards achieving a minimum of 8-10 adult volunteers of various ages and cultural backgrounds.
