Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking to hire an Export Control Officer to join the Safeguards and Security team. This position will report to the Director of Safeguards and Security. Deliver training and awareness programs for project teams and contractors. Develops, maintains, and implements Export Control training. Performs Restricted Party Screening. - Ensure compliance with NNSA, Commerce, State, NRC, and Treasury regulations. - Identify, classify, and control export‑controlled data, software, equipment, and technology across engineering, procurement, technology transfers. - Maintain required export control documentation and records. - Provide guidance on deemed exports, national foreign access, site access controls, and Technology Control Plans (TCPs). - Conduct assessments and audits; recommend and track corrective actions. - Monitor regulatory changes and update project procedures accordingly. - Reviews technical data, foreign collaborations, and contracts with foreign vendors to determine export classifications and licensing requirements. - Develops and maintains compliance records management. - Ensures internal and external compliance audits are completed....
