Position Title: Instructor, Work-Based Learning Division: School-Level: Reports To: Principal or Designee: FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Schedule: Teacher: Work Days: 190: Qualifications: - Coordinate, administer, and monitor all school-level WBL programs in accordance with federal, state, and district rules, regulations, and guidelines for Work-Based Placement (Youth Apprenticeship). - Coordinate WBL programs with industry, businesses, post-secondary institutions, private business schools, GA Department of Labor, and Henry Chamber of Commerce to establish sponsors and work sites. - Coordinate with applicable staff in selecting and placing students into appropriate programs and/or work site locations; provide orientation and training for all program partners. - Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress; identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve problems. - Manage student behavior inside and outside the classroom according to established guidelines. - Provide appropriate and meaningful feedback on student work. - Observe and assess student performance and development. - Maintain accurate...
