Job Description Summary The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and improving Laser drilling processes in the CTC (Composite Technology Center), with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will partner closely with operations, quality, design engineering, and maintenance to deliver robust, repeatable, and capable processes that support current hardware as well as new product introduction. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Define, control, and continuously improve Laser drilling processes, including process parameters, methods, and documentation. - Developing in-depth knowledge of laser drilling and cutting. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. - Translate design requirements and specifications into stable, producible laser drilling processes. - In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. - Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
