Description If you are looking for a place where you can make a difference in the life of a child, Project Harmony is looking for you. This Fall internship (Aug-Dec) position will take part in the review and coordination of child abuse and neglect cases with our Multi-Disciplinary Teams. Must be tied to class and/or program requirement for degree. Students working with Project Harmony MDT teams may: - Review and analyze child abuse and neglect reports received by law enforcement and child protective services pursuant to Neb . Rev . Stat . §28-710. - Assist the county attorney and current MDT Facilitator in facilitating regular case reviews and arranging for training opportunities for the multidisciplinary team. - Work with the Coordination Team to continuously identify and evaluate goals and outcomes. - Submit reports as requested regarding frequency, outcomes and recommendations of the multi-disciplinary team case review as well as for improvement in protocols and practices. - Timely input of case information related to goals and outcomes into agency database. - Work closely and collaboratively with system partners. - Assist in identifying training needs for child welfare staff, a...
