IT Field Service Engineer - Specified Term - ( 26002801 ) Description Are you interested in technology and ready to make an impact? Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University of Iowa is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join the team as an IT Field Service Engineer. As part of the Physical Infrastructure workgroup, this position will play a crucial role in shaping the technology landscape on our campus. The Physical Infrastructure workgroup is focused on wiring (Layer 1 of the OSI Model). You'll be at the forefront of implementing solutions that power and connect our academic, research, and service missions at the University. This position has a project assignment of 1 year and is classified as a "specified term appointment" as an Associate Communication Infrastructure Engineer (PIB1) with full fringe benefits. The ideal candidate will be experienced in design, analysis, implementation, and administration of the voice, data, and video physical infrastructures required to meet established service delivery standards and customer/user needs.
