Job Description Summary The Services Instrumentation and Controls C10 / C35.6 mechanical engineer is responsible for designing , developing, and testing Instrumentation and Control (I&C) equipment that control safety critical functions for the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor. Their specific focus is on mechanical components which hold electronic equipment and the interconnecting cables. This role requires technical problem solving, requirements management, and effective communication/collaboration with other teams and engineering disciplines. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Demonstrate accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and technical accuracy of assigned tasks. - Document requirements and ensure designs meet requirements. - Develop / modify mechanical designs to hold electronic components while meeting all requirements for installations in Nuclear power plants. - Confirm designs meet requirements through analysis and testing. - Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks. - Work with the technical leader to establish an effective work plan, including time estimates, schedule estimates, requirements and work processes. - Apply...
