Schedule: Fulltime 40hrs/week: About Us – Sterile Processing: Fast paced department preparing all surgical instruments for the patients in Main OR, CVOR and Birthing Center Process approximately 10,000 instruments per month Certified through International Association of Healthcare Central Supply Materials Management What You’ll Do: Responsible for the daily operation of Sterile Processing. Plans, develops, and implements new projects, educational training, and orientation program. Assures the standards of operation comply with standards set by regulatory agencies. Provide leadership and management to staff. Interacts with vendors, physicians, and other support departments. Maintains a high consistent standard of instrumentation to assure that the department will meet HFAP requirements in a cost-effective manner. Responsible for budget and tracking expenditures.
