Essential functions of the P1 are to assist with smooth, efficient donor flow, determine donor acceptability, perform sterile venipuncture for collection of blood products, provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the entire donation process. This position requires working in Donor Centers and Mobile Collections, as needed. The P1 exemplifies and champions Carter BloodCare (CBC) Core Values and Code of Conduct, and adheres to CBC policies and applicable departmental SOPs. To support ongoing development and organizational goals, the P1 is required to attend meetings and training sessions, as assigned.
