Job Description Directs, designs, and implements goals, objectives and policies to ensure efficient and effective Pharmacy operations. Directs staff, manages purchasing/inventory control and ensures departmental functions in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements. Job Responsibility: - Leads a Pharmacy group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area. - Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility. - Initiates and develops the strategic plans, policies and procedures, including oversight of operational performance, quality improvements and program initiatives, for pharmacy services; analyzes expenses and operations, negotiates and implements cost effective alternatives to promote quality improvements. - Ensures programs meet established financial goals and objectives and enhances community awareness of the health system's service and develops an annual budget. - Oversees the planning, organization and direction of pharmacy services in conjunction with business growth, program goals, capital requirements, space allocation, and t...
