Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Job description

Purpose of Role The purpose of this role is to ensure the reliability and operation of machinery and auxiliary equipment in a plastic injection molding facility. The Maintenance Technician will complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule, and complete reactive troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. This individual will work in a manner that keeps themselves and their team members safe, while finding opportunities to improve work processes. What You’ll Do: As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency. Your day-to-day impact will include: - Equipment Care & Repair – Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and more. - Preventive Maintenance – Complete scheduled tasks across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems to minimize downtime. - Process Improvement – Support engineering-led projects, kaizen events, and continuous improvement efforts that reduce scrap and increase efficiency. - Inventory & Facilities – Help manage spare parts inventory, assist with building repairs, and coordinate with con...
