Classification Title: Dental Assistant I or Dental Assistant II Classification Minimum Requirements: Dental Assistant I - High school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Dental Assistant II -: High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
