Job description

Job Overview Primary responsibility is to perform inspections on incoming materials, first articles, in-process production parts, rework, and any other quality control requirements to verify conformance to approved drawings, specifications, and any applicable regulatory requirements. Other duties and responsibilities include the performance of product testing and dimensional verification, as well as product and process auditing and reporting any discrepancies to production leads and supervisory personnel. A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Perform random in-process inspections to verify the specifications of the process are being maintained. - Perform first piece inspection upon completion of setups. - Understand the process for product acceptance and rejection. Demonstrate what happens if product fails to meet approved drawings, specifications, and/or any regulatory requirements. - Generate Quality Notifications (QN) in SAP for production-related discrepancies. - Report any discrepancies to the respective production leads and/or supervisor. - Know the options which are considered when making a disposition on nonconforming product, the importance of immedi...
