Job description

SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing all production, safety, quality, maintenance, and personnel of the plant on the required shift. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as necessary. - Coordinates flow of work through the various departments to ensure efficiency, quality, and achievement of the company’s goals and objectives. - Participates in and supports monthly safety meetings, recommends safety training, and enforces safety regulations. Thoroughly investigates accidents and safety issues. - Directs employees performing routine, repetitive, or processing operations to ensure conformance to schedules and quality requirements. - Meets with the Area Coordinators and reviews the shift transfer sheet for each production line, noting the necessary changes for each department. - Assures an adequate number of materials to be used on the lines. - Answers all questions concerning production, quality, and safety. - Acts as a liaison between all the different departments and management. - Updates and offers the material requests to the technical, maintenance, and tool departments. - Oversee t...
