Overview The Patient Care Aide is responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of an RN and LPN. Responsibilities: Demonstrate the ability to do Vital signs and document. Assist with total patient care and assists with activities of daily living. Properly utilize PPE, infection control practices, and proper lifting techniques with proper body mechanics without causing injury to patient, self, or others. Qualifications: Ability to read and write and exhibit proficiency in nursing assistant care and oral communication skills.
