Job description
Position Summary: Position that acts as a mediator between retailers and manufacturing. Answers emails and phone calls from retailers and Corp involving acknowledged orders. Works closely with project managers and repair personnel. Backup for switchboard operator on multi-line telephone system, answering incoming calls and directing callers to appropriate personnel. Major Accountabilities/Critical Responsibilities: 1. Must maintain a record of all upholstery repairs and reschedule all orders involved with them. Update Silao spreadsheet with repairs. 2. Answer all email and phone inquiries regarding acknowledged orders, giving informative responses within 24 hours. 3. Review WIP report received from corporate once per month. 4. Must be able to work closely with SPM’s and our repair personnel to help them efficiently move orders through production. 5. Answer any phone calls regarding acknowledged orders and SRs. 6. Is the switchboard operator. 7. Help the SR team with inserting SR’s when needed. 8. Update shipment information and billing information on SR’s several times per week.
