The RN manages the healthcare of individuals receiving services from DDS; provides supervision to licensed staff and consultation to certified staff; serves as an advocate; provides MAP oversight and performs ongoing training and support to licensed and certified staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Provide clinical consultation regarding complex healthcare issues or newly diagnosed conditions that require an in-depth healthcare management plan. Review Physician Orders, including treatments, protocols, and medications with the Residential Manager and/or Director. Review clinical records on a regular basis to ensure adequate services and support are provided, referrals are obtained as needed, health screenings and diagnostic tests are done, as needed.
