Position Title: Farm Laborer Department: St. Isidore’s Garden-Fitchburg WI Employment Type: Full Time Seasonal FLSA Status: Non Exempt About Us: Frostwood Farms is a hay and crop farming operation located in Fitchburg, WI. One acre of land is dedicated to growing tomatoes and peppers, our St. Isidore Garden. The Frostwood Farms Team is comprised of the Farm Team and the Garden Team who work together to tend the land. This position is a full-time, seasonal position. Our season typically runs from the beginning of May through mid- October. Workdays will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday- Friday but can vary depending on the weather. Weekends will be required on an as needed basis depending on the hay operation. This job is 35-40 hours of work per week Qualifications: - Responsible for general landscape maintenance for our properties including cutting grass, trimming and weeding garden beds using a variety of equipment including mowers, trimmers and other hand-held tools. - Assist the Garden Team in preparing and deconstruction of garden plots at the start and end of the summer season.
