These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interviews and/or competency assessments. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of specialized formal training in automotive machinery required. Four years of verifiable experience in vehicle maintenance repair required. SUMMARY : Sets up and operates a variety of general or specialized metal working machines to repair engine parts or auxiliary units, such as transmissions, differentials, springs, or brakes, applying knowledge of machines, shop mathematics, metal properties, and machine procedures.
