Job description
The Bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following Applebee’s recipe specifications as well as serves food to guests in a courteous and timely manner. Essential Job Functions: Primary Duties: - Provide exceptional service to guests by interacting verbally to all guests in a friendly manner - Adhere to all local and national liquor laws - Mix and serve drinks following set Applebee’s recipes - Greet guests in a timely manner, take orders and answer guest questions - Collect payment from guests in a timely manner using the QR code or POS - Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and TEAM by completing opening and closing side work - Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety - Use bar tools to avoid bar waste and help maintain bar costs - Restock product at the beginning and end of every shift including cutting and/or slicing of product for the garnish bin Educational / Experience: - 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment preferred - Must be 21 years of age - Strong knowledge of spirits,...
