Available Title(s): 118E-YY_CS_NPS - Surplus Inventory Control Specialist 2 Business Title: Surplus Inventory Control Specialist 2 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Surplus Inventory Control Specialist 2, you work under the general direction of the Surplus Supervisor to receive WSU surplus property and determine its resale or recycling viability. You drive box trucks around the Pullman campus to pick up surplus items, evaluate those items for fair market value, and list them for sale through online auctions. You notify priority and public entities about available items, set up and conduct weekly public sales and live auctions, and use computers and related software to complete assigned tasks. Additional Information: This is a full-time ( 100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
