Assures accurate identification and delivery of patient samples to appropriate lab sections. Follows proper safety and identification procedures when dealing with patients and/or specimens under any circumstance or environment. Improves work skills through self-study and continuing education. Contributes to the smooth and efficient operation of the section and department. Protects self, coworkers and facility by following approval policies and procedures to prevent the spread of blood borne and/or airborne diseases.
