Job Type Full-time Description: Patient Care Coordinator – Premier Gastroenterology Practice (East Bay) Join Our Team!: Are you ready to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment where multitasking and attention to detail are essential? Our well-established gastroenterology practice in the East Bay is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to support one of our five physicians and help deliver exceptional care to our patients. What You’ll Do: - Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate records with proper documentation - Verify insurance and coordinate prior authorizations - Manage high-volume calls, emails, and faxes - Schedule procedures and coordinate with outside surgical centers - Monitor, upload, and communicate patient results in Epic EHR - Handle co-pay and past-due collections - Provide occasional front desk or call center coverage - Perform additional duties as assigned - Occasional overtime may be required What We’re Looking For: This is a fast-paced role , and multitasking is essential .
