Description University Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position for University Cancer Specialists , located within the UT Medical Center Cancer Institute. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a rapidly growing, fast-paced oncology office. Job Type : Full-Time (Monday-Friday 7:30AM- 5PM) Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Full benefit package available, including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, Life Insurance, 401k, and more! - Performs telephone triage for providers, using critical thinking skills to make decisions, communicating all pertinent information and interventions to the provider. - Works alongside mid-level and physician, as a team, addressing all patient/family needs and providing education. Ensures clinic has available resources and supplies. - Documents all elements of care in the patient’s electronic medical record. - Assists the providers with referrals, orders, and other coordination of care. - Performs medication reconciliation, refill management, patient compliance, and education for all oncology related medications.
