United Container has immediate openings for reliable, hard-working candidates for our team in Saint Joseph. You must have demonstrated punctual and dependable attendance at your previous employer to be considered for this job. Drives power industrial forklift truck to load, unload and/or move products, equipment or materials and performs various other functions within the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Successfully operates a power industrial forklift by moving levers, pressing pedals, and controlling lifting apparatus. - Perform daily forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines. - Loads and unloads trailers with a fork truck, placing bundles and/or pallets of boxes on the sorting conveyor or moving boxes from the staging area to the sorting area as needed. - Inventories completed bales of boxes from the sorting and/or production area. Places bales onto pallets and records placement in the warehouse storage area on inbound inventory sheets. - Inventories items received as finished goods by attaching identifying tags and records placement in warehouse storage areas on inbound inventory sheets.
