Inventory Specialist

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management software - Conduct regular physical counts of merchandise and reconcile with system records, 25 counts per hour while maintaining 99% accuracy - Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records - Research weight variances, receiving/put away/picking issues, and damaged product in the location from warehouse moves/put away/general incidents - Proactively check First-in Frist-out (FIFO) items for proper rotation - Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics - Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment - Able to professionally communicate inventory reports/questions/resolutions via email and phone - Ensure items are properly identified, organized, labeled, and in the correct location - Receiving, unpacking, and stocking incoming shipments as needed - Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss - Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment Other Competencies: - Ability to compile information, demonstrate problem solving, and mak...
