Job DetailsJob Location: Lotus HQ - Chandler, AZ 85226Position Type: F/T RegularSalary Range: $123,200.00 - $143,200.00 SalaryJob Shift: DayThe Chief Engineer is responsible for leading and creating product designs for internally or externally funded research and development programs, to include the development of armor, blast attenuating seats, and other technologies for ground vehicles, aircrafts, and a wide variety of infrastructure security needs. Additionally, the Chief Engineer is responsible for ensuring new products meet specified requirements, as well as overseeing prototype build, qualification testing, and successful transition of products to production. The Chief Engineer is responsible for developing and/or reviewing technical documents to support CDRLS/SDRLS, design reviews, testing, requirements tracking, trade studies, bids and proposals, etc. Furthermore, the Chief Engineer is responsible for developing key performance matrices for development projects, standard operating procedures, and support ArmorWorks’ business development team.
