Meta is seeking an Firmware/Electrical Engineer to join our Data Center Robotics Engineering team. This team is dedicated to implementing cutting-edge robotics technologies to enable efficient and operationally safer data centers. The Robotics Firmware/Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, deployment, and sustaining of robotics hardware solutions throughout the product life cycles to enable physical automation within Meta data centers. This role collaborates closely with software and system engineers to ensure seamless product integration, thus enhancing operational efficiency and reducing risks across Meta’s infrastructure. The ideal candidate has proven experience in embedded development with firmware development and prototyping electronics. They demonstrate expertise in programming languages such as Python, C/C++ and have practical robotics experience in linux, developing firmware for microcontrollers, and prototyping electronics. They excel in system-level thinking, developing key electrical architectures from scratch and anticipating the needs of hardware-software integration.
