You will support patients and providers in a fast-paced specialty practice focused on digestive health. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Prepares exam rooms and helps maintain a smooth patient flow throughout the day. Ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. What you will do: Prepares exam and treatment rooms. Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Obtains pertinent history, enters into the medical record including chief complaint, medical and surgical history, allergies, medications, and appropriate review of systems, and takes/documents patient vital signs. Processes and files all lab/diagnostic test results, correspondence, clinical notes in patients’ chart after they have been reviewed by the physician. Coordinates patient flow in the office.
