ABOUT THE ROLE: The FlashBlade Self-Service Upgrades (SSU) team builds the upgrade experience for Pure Storage’s FlashBlade platform, enabling customers to keep their systems current with confidence. The team develops backend services and APIs that support safe, non-disruptive software upgrades across both connected environments and secure offline darksite environments. This role owns backend systems end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and ongoing operations, while ensuring scalability and high performance across large fleets. It also focuses on improving delivery speed and quality through CI/CD practices, automation, and engineering standards that reduce manual effort and defects.
