Staff Civil Engineer

Job description

We are hiring for an experienced professional to join our team as a Staff Engineer and contribute to our Land Development projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Raleigh, NC . This person will have the opportunity to work on a variety of private and public site development projects across various markets! Primary Responsibilities: - Oversee the development of Land Development Plans; this includes the preparation of engineering design drawings, technical specification, and engineering reports (from schematic design through construction). - Coordinate permits through regulatory agencies for large scale, complex projects. - Perform zoning interpretation and prepare feasibility studies, drawings, specifications, and reports. - Contribute to stormwater management design: Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling, Erosion and Sediment Control (E&SC) planning, etc. - Utilize advanced understanding of ordinances / regulations (local, state, & federal) as well as the relevant permitting process(es) to ensure compliance. - Engage with regulatory agencies. - Manage all aspects of project efforts and interface with clients. - Nurture existing client relationships as well as develo...
