All About You The Buyer works under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager and is responsible for assuring compliance with company policies, applicable government regulations and laws and the higher of ethical standards while establishing sources for quality conforming materials and services with competitive pricing and timely deliveries. The Buyer will continually seek new and alternative ideas, products, and materials whose adoption might improve company efficiency and profitability. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree required. - Previous experience in an Aerospace/Defense materials purchasing department or manufacturing industry preferred. - Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible purchasing related experiences in a manufacturing environment. - Experience with MfgPro/QAD/MQ1 desired. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge/experience preferred. Well-developed understanding of business principles with comparative, quantitative and communication skills.
