The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. To date, our tunnels have transported over 3 million people and we have just expanded into our second city, Nashville. We've recently won approval to dig another 60 miles of tunnels in Vegas and 26 in Nashville, with many more coming in the next 6 months+. To facilitate this rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with PE licensure and a strong background in land development, site design, utilities mapping, or subsurface infrastructure. Tunneling experience is not required; success in this role comes from deep technical judgment, high ownership, and the ability to lead complex field and design operations with precision.
