Principal Electrical Engineer (High Voltage Systems)

Job description

Remora is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of high-power AC electrical systems supporting industrial generation and distribution infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with full ownership of electrical system strategy, high-voltage AC design, and technical execution from concept through commissioning. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in 480V 3-phase industrial power, medium- and high-voltage distribution systems, and integration of 1–5 MW generator installations. You are equally comfortable defining system architecture and rolling up your sleeves—performing detailed power studies, developing schematics, guiding protection strategies, and troubleshooting complex high-voltage installations in the field. We're building modular carbon capture systems for vehicles — turning exhaust into beverage-grade CO2 sold to breweries and greenhouses. We deploy in regions facing severe CO2 shortages, where prices are highest, allowing us to generate high margins without tax credits or carbon credits.
