Job Summary Responsible for performing setup on all entry-level welding components that range from similar to dissimilar metals and alloys, requiring a high degree of skill and welding technique or involving a considerable number of parts and/or smaller, more complicated weldments, where alignment, dimensions, and weld quality must conform to strict quality standards. Day Shift: Tuesday - Friday (5:00am - 3:30 pm) *Mondays Off Compensation: $20 - $24/hr. Responsibilities: Tig welding 90% and mig welding 10% using multiple types of materials (steel, galvanized, and a range of stainless) Welding teams of two Associates per project. Properly set up welding machines: Preparation before Welding: 70% consists of ripping and trimming various specs of wire belts. Clean welds to check for imperfections. Accuracy with alignment, dimensions, materials, number of components, and general inspection requirements of metal chain drive belts. Accurate interpretation of work orders and collaboration with co-workers and QA associates. Work within the parameters of an estimate and work order. Wire crimping and machine operating.
