TEMPORARY FACULTY POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES: The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware invites applications for several temporary, full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics or in a closely related discipline; well-qualified candidates with an M.S. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline will be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor. Experience teaching college-level courses such as intermediate algebra, college algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus at a college or university in the United States is required. Ability to teach high-enrollment (75-90 students), coordinated courses is essential, and ability to teach general education mathematics (quantitative reasoning/literacy) and/or intermediate courses such as discrete mathematics, differential equations, and/or statistics will be viewed favorably.
