Senior Application Support Engineer - Housing Sector Grade D - £45,091 – £51,356 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Housing specialist with strong technical expertise in NEC Housing and associated systems. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting and evolving Birmingham City Council’s critical Housing and Property applications, working closely with both technical and functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality digital services. As a senior member of the Digital & Technology Services (DTS) Applications team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical systems, ensuring they remain stable, secure, and aligned to business needs. You will operate at a practitioner level within a live support environment, resolving complex issues, supporting integrations, and driving continuous improvement across the application estate.
