Accountant V 2600017G Description This position is designated as an Emergency Personnel position. Due to the critical nature of these job functions, this position will be required to report to their assigned work site as scheduled, regardless of an emergency that may otherwise affect staffing of other state offices. The Accountant V - Federal Grants Fiscal Coordinator is responsible for fiscal administration of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) federal grants consisting of the FEMA Public Assistance program, Hazard Mitigation program, and the Emergency Management Preparedness Grant program; the FWHA Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness program; and the DHS State Homeland Security program. Under the supervision of the Chief Fiscal Officer the position ensures all financial documents and transactions related to state sub-grants, and other federal spending comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
