Facilities Technician

Job description

We are looking for a talented onsite Facilities Technician to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Under moderate supervision, perform exterior and interior building maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures in a wide variety of conditions such as extreme heat, cold and moisture. - Assist in a wide variety of maintenance activities; address immediate operational and/or safety concerns and ensures that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order. - Maintain safe work habits and actions in all aspects of the daily task; evaluate reactive work for safety issues, plan projects so that safety is key, and review preventative work for any unforeseen items that may present safety hurdles. - Using powered hand tools, drills, grinders, porta-band, conduct minor repairs including plumbing in restrooms along with dock drain; floor repair and spill pickup, including carpet and floor tile; Ceiling and light fixture installation; Wall repair including drywall installation, patching, wall hanging and painting. - Utilize software to track, assign, and prioritize reactive, planned, pre...
